Sponsorship Fund:

There are a few children within the Kibera project who have needs that are over and above those that would normally be covered by the programme.

Tabitha, for example, became an orphan in August 2005, and is now living with her Uncle and Aunt up-country. The family is poor, and we have committed to supporting Tabitha's education, and providing some extra food where possible.

Mayondi is living in Joy House, our foster home, and has no known living relative. He has recently completed his training to become a barber, and we have set up a small barber shop for him to gain work experience in.

Hussein (see Real Life Stories) is supported to live at the Community Farm. The sponsorship fund is providing him with everything he needs, including clothing and school supplies.

For these, and others, we have a Child Sponsorship Fund. Contributing members receive regular updates on the children benefiting from their support, and know their money is going directly to help these children and young people.

Membership costs £15 per month, all of which goes directly to supporting the children in the fund. We take nothing out first for our administration costs. If you would be interested in helping with the sponsorship fund please fill in your details below to request more information.
