…to ride a bike from Land’s end to John O’ Groats or maybe play football in the park… these are just two examples of sponsored events happening this summer to raise much-needed funds for Turning Point.
Adam Perryman is taking on the mammoth task of cycling the length of the UK this August, launching from Land’s End on 28th August and arriving in John O’Groats 12 days later having pedalled a nearly 1000 miles!
Meanwhile Jon Herbert and the Christ Church Woking Football Club are organising a 5-a-side comp at Goldsworth Park in Surrey on 22nd June from 1pm. All are welcome if you want to rock up and show your support, what better way to spend a sunny sunday? Yes it will be sunny.

While the sun is out and everyones having a good time why not organise your own fund-raising event for Turning Point? It could be a greulling physical challenge or it could be organising a bake sale with your kids, whatever you’re good at or enjoy, you can have some fun and raise some money for TP at the same time.
We’re also very excited to be running a stall in the marketplace at New Wine again this year so if you’re heading down to New Wine this summer, be sure to stop by our stall for a chat. Apparently we’ll be right by the cafe so come for a cup of tea and catch up with the latest with TP! The Parson family and Emily and Moses will be at New Wine from Kenya and we would love to catch up face-to-face. We hope to see many of you then.
